I am an avid procrastinator.

A future writer, current slacker who slouches by and somehow manages to maintain her straight A's. Life seems somehow dull lately, like I've reached a plateau as far as high school is concerned; I can only hope and pray to the god I don't believe in that this isn't all Moon Valley High School and Phoenix, Arizona have in store for me. I've sweated and suffered my way through enough sweltering summers here to deserve something a little better in return.

I am a restless adolescent.

An ambitious mind and shackled body struggling to accept the fact that I'm tied down here for another two years. Phoenix has robbed me of a chance at brilliance. The summer heat turns brain matter into lifeless globules, sweating and steaming from the ears of every sorry sonofabitch who ever sets foot here for more than a year. Like our native cacti, our shallow roots instill in us a valuable mindset found in abundance in the desert: rip yourself free the first chance you get.

I am a pessimistic idealist, daydreaming about freedom that does not come.
